Ndaroini wet mill is found at slopes of mount Kenya in Nyeri county Mathira East sub county near Karatina town.This is located at an elevation of 1700 meters above sea level.The type of soil here is red volcanic soil which is rich with organic matter and nutrients,making the region very suitable for growing coffee.
The wet mill started in the year 1984 under cooperative society by small scale farmers.
Ndaroini PLC took over the running of ndaroini wet mill
Since the year 2019 our production has been increasing every year apart from the 2023/2024 season and this is due to climate change which has affected coffee through coffee berry disease.
